A few weeks ago, “Avengers: Infinity War” directors Joe and Anthony Russo posted on their social media accounts a photo, one of a typed out letter asking fans who saw that film early NOT to spoil it for the fans who hadn’t.
Cut to today and the official account of actor Ryan Reynolds has posted a similar letter in regards to “Deadpool 2,” although being that Marvel hero it makes fun of the original “Avengers” letter in the process.
From making fun of the Disney-Fox buy out, to the statement: “only a handful of people know the film’s true plot, and one of them is not Ryan Reynolds,” it’s a cute bit of mockery. It is, however, also semi-serious as an early fan screening will take place in New York on Monday.
“Deadpool 2” opens May 18th.
