Syfy has released promos for three shows, most notably the first preview of “Deadly Class” based on the Image Comics title and produced by “Avengers: Infinity War” directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
The story follows a homeless teen in the late 1980s who is recruited into a storied elite private school where the world’s top crime families send their next generations. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties soon prove to be vital.
Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Liam James, Luke Tennie, Liam James and Michel Duval co-star in the series which hasn’t set a premiere date as yet.
Next up is a new teaser for the fourth and final season of the network’s time travel drama “12 Monkeys”. In the new episodes, James Cole (Aaron Stanford) and Dr. Cassandra Railly (Amanda Schull) set out on an epic quest, travelling further back in time than they have ever been before to find a way to stop The Witness. The new episodes premiere June 15th.
Then there’s “Nightflyers,” the sci-fi series Based on the 1987 novella by author George R.R. Martin. The story follows eight maverick scientists and a powerful telepath who embark on an expedition to the edge of our solar system. When terrifying and violent events begin to take place they start to question each other – and surviving the journey proves harder than anyone thought. Jeff Buhler and Daniel Cerone are producing.
Finally, HBO has premiered the trailer for the next episode of HBO’s “Westworld,” the fifth for the season and the one that takes us into the mysterious Shogun World that has been teased since the end of the first season. Titled “Akane No Mai,” the fifth episode of the second season airs on Sunday, May 20th.
