Everyone seems to have an opinion about Zack Snyder’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice,” including the man who played the villain in the film’s predecessor “Man of Steel”.
Actor Michael Shannon, aka General Zod in “Man Of Steel,” was asked by Vulture whom he thinks would win in a battle between Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman. His answer? He doesn’t care:
“I’m so utterly unconcerned with the outcome of that fight. So profoundly, utterly unconcerned. I can’t even come up with a fake answer.
I guess I have to root for Superman because he killed me, so I would hope that he would continue his killing spree and become like a serial killer Superman.
That’s a new take on Superman. We’d all be in a heap of trouble if Superman was a serial killer. He could just wipe us all out. But then he’d be lonely.”
Something that has taken off in the past day or so has been the ‘Sad Affleck’ meme. Both Affleck and Cavill were asked about the film’s reviews in an interview with Yahoo Movies UK a few days ago. Cavill defended the film, while Affleck kept a glum look with only a two word response.
Now, YouTube creator Sabconth has edited the video interview so Affleck’s expression is accompanied by Simon & Garfunkel’s “Sound of Silence.”
