“Harry Potter” series director David Yates has dropped out of helming “Your Voice In My Head” for Warner Bros. Pictures reports Deadline.
Emma Forrest penned the drama based on her memoir. The story follows a young woman (Emma Watson) who attempts suicide before being saved by a New York-based psychiatrist who’s dying of cancer.
Yates has reportedly departed for personal reasons involving a family health situation. Yates and Watson wanted to postpone, but the writers and producers didn’t want to wait.
