David Slade Falls For “The Widow”

David Slade (“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” “30 Days of Night”) is set to direct the psychological thriller “The Widow” for Vendome Pictures and Anonymous Content.

Ray Wright penned the story which centers on a young woman who befriends a lonely widow, only to discover that their encounter was not a coincidence.

Philippe Rousselet, Steve Golin and Alix Madigan will produce, with shooting to commence later this year. Slade most recently helmed the pilot episode of NBC’s “Hannibal”.
