David O. Russell Helming “Zombies”?

Famously temperamental director David O. Russell (“Three Kings,” “I Heart Huckabees”) is tipped to be both adapting the script and directing the film version of Seth Grahame-Smith’s “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” reports Pajiba.

Reports last week indicated Natalie Portman is up for the female lead in the comedic undead take on the Jane Austen classic.

The choice of Russell however seems odd as the director has scored a rather infamous reputation for being difficult to work with. He also still has two projects currently in post (“Nailed,” “The Fighter”) that haven’t settled on any release plans as yet.
