David Gordon Green (“Pineapple Express,” “Snow Angels”) has added two more projects to his already busy upcoming slate says The Hollywood Reporter.
The first is the comedic thriller “Free Country” though plot details of the script by author-turned-scribe Josh Parkinson aren’t forthcoming. Green will develop the project and may direct the project which his Rough House production company picked up recently.
Green and Parkinson will also work on the graphic novel adaptation “Battling Boy” for Plan B about the son of a god who must rid a giant city of a plague of monsters. The pair takeover for Alex Tse (“Watchmen”) who was previously attached to adapt.
Green is finishing up work “Your Highness” opening next Easter, about to start filming the Jonah Hill comedy “The Sitter” for Fox, is involved with a new season of “Eastbound and Down”, and is still being linked with the remake of Dario Argento’s classic “Suspiria”.
