The story follows a scholarly woman who is a direct descendant of the first woman executed at the Salem Witch Trials.
She discovers a long-lost manuscript in Oxford’s Bodleian Library that may contain the secret of immortality, and becomes caught up with a 1,500 year old vampire to try and stop an inter-species war between witches and vampires.
Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan are producing. The book is the first part in a planned trilogy.
