Dave Franco (“Neighbors,” “Now You See Me”) is in talks to join Ryan Reynolds in the new Michael Bay-directed action feature “Six Underground” for Netflix and Skydance.
Reynolds and “Deadpool” scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese penned the script for the $125 million-budgeted film in which Reynolds will lead a team of four men and two women on a mission to stop evil. Reynolds plays operative codenamed ‘One’ while Franco will play ‘Six’ if he closes the deal.
More casting will be announced soon. Bay, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger are producing the film which begins shooting in September ahead of a 2019 release.
