Danny Trejo and “Bad Ass” director Craig Moss are re-teaming for the action comedy “Social Security” which aims to begin production this year.
The pair launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign today for the film in which Trejo, playing himself, must protect a retirement home from a group of menacing jewelry thieves. Yes, it’s “Die Hard in a retirement home”.
The project had been set up briefly at 20th Century Fox where the duo made three “Bad Ass” films. Like those, Moss also penned the script and will produce with Trejo and Sandra Siegel. Additional casting is in the works.
