Matt Damon will make his feature directorial debut on an untitled mid-budget drama he co-wrote with “The Office” star John Krasinski for Warner Bros. Pictures and Sunday Night Productions says Variety.
Damon would play a salesman who arrives in a small town only to have his whole life called into question. Krasinski will also have a role but it is unknown at this time.
Krasinski developed the story with author Dave Eggers while Chris Moore will produce. The film is NOT “Father Daughter Time” which was speculated in June.
The duo will try to get a script finished within the next month and the budget is estimated to be around $12 million. Should it get the green light, shooting would take place on the East Coast next year.
