“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” actress Daisy Ridley has become attached to star in “A Woman Of No Importance,” a film adaptation of the Sonia Purnell novel setup at Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot.
The story is described as a biography of American heiress and super-spy Virginia Hall, a woman who lost part of her leg in a hunting accident and then attempted to break into the ranks of the American Foreign Service.
She ended up working during the war for the British intelligence unit SOE and later joined the OSS, the forerunner of the CIA. J.J. Abrams produces.
Ridley wrapped “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” last year and is currently shooting Kenneth Branagh’s “Murder On The Orient Express” remake. She remains attached to “Chaos Walking,” “Kolma” and “Ophelia”.
