D.J. Caruso (“Disturbia,” “Eagle Eye”) is in talks to direct the third installment of Hasbro and Paramount’s “G.I. Joe” franchise.
It’s unclear which actors from the previous films would return, aside from Dwayne Johnson who is attached to reprise the role Roadblock. Both previous films in the franchise made of $300 million worldwide at the box-office.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner are producing. The second film’s director Jon M. Chu was at one time attached, but left to direct the “Jem and the Holograms” instead.
