“The Good Wife” star Matt Czuchry will reprise his role of Logan Huntzberger on Netflix’s upcoming “Gilmore Girls” revival series.
It has yet to be determined how many episodes out of the four new installments (each 90 minutes in length) Czuchry will participate in, but his deal has reportedly closed.
The character was Rory Gilmore’s (Alexis Bledel) boyfriend in Seasons 5-7 and was last seen in the series finale heading to California after Rory turned down his marriage proposal.
Show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino says they want to include as many of Rory’s former love interests as they can in the revival. The two key ones before Logan being Dean (Jared Padalecki) and Jess (Milo Ventimiglia).
Meanwhile actress Melissa McCarthy, who played Sookie St. James on the family drama for seven seasons, revealed on Twitter earlier this week that “no one asked me or Sookie to come back to Stars Hollow” but she wishes the project all the best. That follows comments in TV Line earlier this week in which Sherman-Palladino said she put in a request for McCarthy to return with her camp.
