“Cyberpunk 2077” To Look Very Different To E3

Cyberpunk 2077 To Look Very Different To E3

It has been teased for years and then “The Witcher” creators CD Projekt Red blew everyone away with an extensive demo of their open-world sci-fi game “Cyberpunk 2077” last year at E3.

Now, in a new interview with Area Jugones (via WCCF Tech), the game’s quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz has spoken about the project and says it has evolved significantly since that E3 reveal and so will look quite a bit different to what was shown.

Tomaszkiewicz says the changes have taken place because the team didn’t have a clear idea on how everything it wanted to include would fit into an open world. Because of this, numerous elements have undergone redesigns and innovations, and a bunch of new things have been added which previously weren’t shown.

The comments also suggest “Cyberpunk 2077” is still very much a work in progress which effectively shuts down any talk of it being released later this year and this is despite CD Projekt Red previously stating June’s E3 presentation will be the most important in company history.
