CW Reimagines “The Lost Boys” As A Series

The CW has announced plans for an ambitious series re-imagining of Joel Schumacher’s cult 1987 horror comedy “The Lost Boys” to be produced by Gulfstream TV and Warner Bros. Television.

“Veronica Mars” and “iZombie” creator Rob Thomas will serve as showrunner on the new series which will be set across a span of seventy years with each season chronicling a decade.

Each season, the humans, the setting, the antagonist and the story change – but the vampires remain the same. Season one will kick things off in San Francisco 1967.

Danielle Stokdyk, Dan Etheridge, Mike Karz and Bill Bindley will produce.
