The CW had six pilots in contention for series and now four of them have been officially picked up to series.
The four include the reboot of 1980s super soap “Dynasty,” the military-themed special forces drama “Valor,” the Lucy Hale-led dramedy “Life Sentence,” and the DC Comics-inspired drama “Black Lightning”.
‘Lightning’ is set to be a part of The CW’s DC Universe alongside shows like “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow”.
Additionally, The CW has also renewed its two ‘on the bubble’ shows “iZombie” and “The Originals” with both series set to return in the Fall.
With those set, it means the two other pilots in contention – the quirky comedy “Insatiable” and Greg Berlanti’s supernatural drama “Searchers” – are still undetermined for now.
