John Cusack and Hilary Duff are set to team for writer/director Mark Roper’s new film “Talking to Dog” reports Moviehole.
Described as a cross between “Mad Max” and “Blue Velvet”, it is set in a post apocalyptic future where man has suffered the wrath of global warning, and woman have suffered the inability to have children.
Time has stood still for two, small isolated communities. Into this environment, a young man arrives who is able to communicate with the dead, learn secrets of the past, and inspire hope.
The film, set to shoot before mid-year, will also star Rodrigo Santoro, Tom Conti, Joe Anderson, Lance Henriksen and Steven Berkhoff.
