John Cusack and Rob Corddry have joined while Craig Robinson and Clark Duke are in negotiations to co-star in the MGM comedy “Hot Tub Time Machine” says the trades.
Scripted by Josh Heald, the comedy follows a group of friends who are frustrated when they return to a ski lodge where they partied as teens. They then get in a hot tub – which happens to be a time machine – and get transported to 1987
Cusack, Corddry and Robinson are the three best friends, while Duke is Cusack’s younger brother. Steve Pink directs the film and is polishing the script in order to play to each comedian’s strengths.
Cusack, Grace Loh and Matt Moore are producing with production kicking off April 20th in Vancouver.
