Curtis Hanson In Talks For “Gemini Man”

Curtis Hanson (“L.A. Confidential,” “Wonder Boys”) is in negotiations to direct the action thriller “Gemini Man” for Touchstone Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows an NSA agent tries to retire and is targeted for death. He discovers that his assassin is a younger cloned version of himself.

The trick with the project is that a veteran actor will be cast as the agent with his younger likeness digitally grafted onto a stuntman’s body as the younger clone.

Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Murphy will produce the project which has been in development for over a decade. David Benioff wrote the most recent draft of the script which was originated by Darren Lemke and rewritten by various scribes over the years including Jonathan Hensleigh.
