Crowe Considers A “Say Anything” Sequel

Appearing at the Television Critics Association summer press tour to promote the “Pearl Jam Twenty” documentary, “Almost Famous” and “Vanilla Sky” filmmaker Cameron Crowe says that the one film of his that might warrant a sequel is his John Cusack-led 1989 rom-com “Say Anything”.

“The only thing that I’ve written that I would consider doing that [making a follow-up] with… I’ve thought about it from time to time, and talked about it with John Cusack once. This is the only story that, there might be another chapter to that at some point” said Crowe according to Reuters.

He also added that “we have to keep the guy that Lloyd Dobler has to drive home from the prom party — he’s got to come back.”
