Creed, Tomb, Witcher Top WGA Gaming Noms

“Assassin’s Creed Syndicate,” “Pillars of Eternity,” “Rise of the Tomb Raider” and “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” have all been nominated for the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Video Game Writing’ award by the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA).

The Writers Guild Awards honor outstanding writing in film, TV, new media, video games, news, radio, promotion and graphic animation. This marks the eighth year that video games have been included in the line-up.

Previous winners have included “The Last of Us: Left Behind” in 2015, “The Last of Us” in 2014, “Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation” in 2013, “Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception” in 2012, “Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood” in 2011, “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves” in 2010, “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed” in 2009, and “Dead Head Fred” in 2008.
