Actor Daniel Craig has undergone knee surgery to repair an injury sustained during the filming of the twenty-fourth James Bond feature “Spectre”.
In a statement, an EON Productions rep called the operation minor, and said the actor will be back to work in just over two weeks: “During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22nd at Pinewood.”
Filming on “Spectre” is not believed to have been affected thus far. News of injury first surfaced in February when the 46-year-old actor reportedly hurt himself while filming a fight scene. Claims were quickly denied that the film’s production or November 6th release date would be impacted.
