A third season of Netflix and Marvel’s “Daredevil” won’t hit until sometime in 2018, and for now it’s not clear what villains or other characters will appear.
The one that everyone is waiting for though is Bullseye, the assassin character Colin Farrell played in the 2002 film version and whom has served as a major antagonist to Matt Murdock in the comics for many years.
The show’s star Charlie Cox is all for the idea of his inclusion and speaking at Wizard World in Pittsburgh this past weekend, he told ScreenGeek:
“It’s no secret, I’ve said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I’d like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point. I think it’s a really interesting opportunity. Deborah Ann Woll obviously does not want Bullseye to show up for obvious reasons. Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra, doesn’t want Bullseye to show up either.”
Cox will first reprise the role for “The Defenders” event series which will air in late 2017.
