Cotillard Out, Knightley In For “Cosmopolis”

Keira Knightley is tipped to replace Marion Cotillard in David Cronenberg’s upcoming sci-fi thriller “Cosmopolis” for Alfama Films reports The Los Angeles Times.

Cotillard was set to play the female lead and love interest of Robert Pattinson’s character. However news of Cotillard’s pregnancy the other day means that by the time he’s finished “Breaking Dawn” and is ready to film this starting in late May, she’ll have a bump too big to disguise.

Now, the film’s production company Alfama Films has posted Knightley’s headshot up on its official site along with Pattinson’s as the film’s leads. The choice of Knightley isn’t a huge surprise as Cronenberg just finished filming “A Dangerous Method” with her.
