Corey Stoll (“House Of Cards”) and Sarah Baker (“The Campaign”) have joined the cast of the drama “The Good Lie” at Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures.
Based on true events, the story follows a young Sudanese refugee (Arnold Oceng) who wins a lottery for relocation to the U.S. with three others.
Stoll will play Jack, the owner of an employment agency that helps the boys. Reese Witherspoon plays a brash American woman assigned to help them.
Philippe Falardeau (“Monsieur Lazhar”) helms from a script by Margaret Nagle (“Boardwalk Empire”).
Molly Smith, Trent and Thad Luckinbill, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Karen Kehela Sherwood are producing. Shooting begins Monday in Atlanta and Africa.
