Cooper Replaces Law On “Jane Got A Gun”

Bradley Cooper is set to take over the departed Jude Law in the role of the villain in Gavin O’Connor’s “Jane Got a Gun”.

The story centers on a woman (Natalie Portman) who must ask an ex-lover (Joel Edgerton) for help in order to save her outlaw husband from a gang (led by Cooper) who are out to kill him.

Law left the project after the film’s original director, Lynne Ramsey, abruptly left the film on the first day of shooting. This left the producers scrambling to secure another director before the project fell apart.

O’Connor is now at the helm of the film which is currently filming in New Mexico. Cooper will film his scenes at a later date once he wraps work on David O. Russell’s untitled ABSCAM project.
