“Conjuring” Stars Re-Team On “The Commuter”

Patrick Wilson is set to re-team with his “The Conjuring” series co-star Vera Farmiga on the upcoming action thriller “The Commuter” at Studiocanal and Lionsgate.

Liam Neeson plays a businessman caught up in a criminal conspiracy during his daily commute home. Wilson will portray a trusted friend while Farmiga will play a mysterious woman who boards the train and proposes an enticing opportunity to Neeson’s character.

Byron Willinger and Phil de Blasi wrote the script while Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are producing.

The project marks the fourth team-up of Neeson and director Jaume Collet-Serra after the pair previously worked on “Unknown,” “Non-Stop” and “Run All Night”. Collet-Serra, who had a hit this Summer with “The Shallows,” previously worked with Farmiga on “Orphan”.
