“Conjuring” Franchise Passes $1 Billion

With “Annabelle: Creation” rising past the $110 million mark at the box-office, New Line Cinema’s “Conjuring” cinematic universe has now surpassed the $1 billion mark at the global box office.

James Wan and Peter Safran are the masterminds behind the series which includes “The Conjuring” ($319.5M), “The Conjuring 2” ($320.4M) and “Annabelle” ($257M). The group will soon be joined by “The Nun,” “The Crooked Man” and “The Conjuring 3”.
