Concept Art: “Star Wars: Ep. VII” Main Villain?

What a day for scoops about J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode VII”.

It began with the unveiling of the new Stormtrooper helmet design. Then concept art and details of the ships that Han Solo will sport in the film. Both of those reports were broken by Indie Revolver this morning with a little help from Badass Digest.

This afternoon Latino Review posted a lot of details about the apparent villains of the upcoming J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode VII,” during which they also mentioned a description of the main antagonist – a partly robotic Sith Inquisitor.

The day is now ending with yet another piece of concept art, again from Indie Revolver and this time an apparent sketch of that partly robotic Sith Inquisitor character. Here’s their description and the sketch itself:

“It’s true that the main villain of Episode VII is a Sith Inquisitor. He’s tall and thin and terrifyingly creepy, with glowing red eyes to match his red lightsaber. He’s got some robotic upgrades, like Vader – but no mask. The cybernetic bits weave in and out of him. He’s got a human upper lip, a steel jaw… and the robotic hand that JJ Abrams posted an image of.”

The character is said to be the one holding the missing Luke Skywalker captive. There’s a flashback which explains his ties to the Sith and includes both Darth Vader and a young Princess Leia.

This is all just rumor for now so still best to treat it as such.
