Colin Farrell is in talks to star in David Dobkin’s “Arthur and Lancelot” for Warner Bros. Pictures reports Variety.
The $90 million-budget project is described as a modern re-imagining of the King Arthur and Sir Lancelot legendary tales. Farrell’s involvement gives the studio a more recognizable star
Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”) and Joel Kinniman (“The Killing”) were previously set to play the title roles until Warners postponed the project due to budget and other concerns. Both actors however fell out due to scheduling conflicts.
Dobkin will direct from his own screenplay and produce alongside Lionel Wigram, Charles Roven and Richard Suckle.
