Coens’ Western Series Begins Filming In July

A casting notice has revealed that filming is slated to begin next month on the Coen Brothers new western TV miniseries “The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs” reports Backstage.com (via The Playlist).

Annapurna TV will produce the series which will be shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The same report indicates the series follows “the stories of six individuals weave together in the old West at the end of the Civil War.”

The project, which marks the first television project for the brothers, seemingly doesn’t have a network or streaming service home at this point.
