CMT May Revive “Last Man Standing”

Following its cancellation by ABC in early May and the subsequent loud backlash against that decision, CMT may be picking up the cancelled Tim Allen-led series “Last Man Standing” for a seventh season.

The Live Feed reports that things are very much in the preliminary stages at this point with no guarantees for now, but the network is reportedly looking at the cost of a revival, how many episodes might work and if it will fit in the network’s budget.

Allen played a conservative sporting-goods executive and father of three daughters, Nancy Travis played his wife and Jordan Masterson was his liberal son-in-law. The series ran for six seasons with a total of 130 episodes, the most recent finale airing in March.
