Clooney, Cohen, Rhames Casting Talk

Looks like Ving Rhames’ role in “Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol” will be a cameo at best.

The actor tells Movieweb that “I may be doing something very small in Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol but I will just say that the budget changed dramatically and I’ll leave it at that.”

When asked directly if he would do a cameo, he hinted that it’s all a matter of how much they’ll pay him “Hmm… Cha-ching could create that but it’s up to them”.

In other casting talk, The Playlist reports that representatives for George Clooney have shot down reports the actor is rumoured to be starring in one of the three biopics in the works about auto industry legend John DeLorean.

Finally, Sacha Baron Cohen is reportedly considering starring in a remake of the Spanish language comedy “Torrente” says The Los Angeles Times.

Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel are penning the script, the trio having done the script for Cohen’s immediate next project “The Dictator”. Catch is Cohen is linked to several projects, so there’s no telling when or if a “Torrente” remake will happen.
