Clooney & Blanchett Reteam For Fox

George Clooney is in negotiations and Cate Blanchett is in talks to voice the lead characters in Wes Anderson’s “The Fantastic Mr. Fox” says The Hollywood Reporter.

“Mr. Fox” is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story, centering on a clever fox who must outwit three mean, dimwitted farmers who try their hardest to hurt Mr. Fox and his family. Clooney would voice Mr. Fox, while Blanchett would voice his wife.

The stop-motion film is expected to be distributed by 20th Century Fox. Anderson will begin work on the project in London when he completes his current film, “The Darjeeling Ltd.,” which he is editing in New York for Fox Searchlight.
