Clint Eastwood will direct and star in “Gran Torino” for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures reports Variety.
Story details are being kept top secret, though a search on the title only brings up the familiar 70’s Ford automobile.
In fact it was the scheduling of the film for release in December this week which marked the first anyone had heard of the project.
The film is also the second feature that Eastwood has opening this year. He also directed the child abduction drama “Changeling” opening November 7th.
The Nelson Mandela biopic “The Human Factor” was widely believed to have been his next project.
