Kiersey Clemons, the “Dope” actress who plays Barry Allen’s potential love interest Iris West in the upcoming DCEU film “The Flash,” has reportedly filmed a cameo in the same role in Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” film.
Variety writer Justin Kroll revealed the cameo involvement on Twitter when asked about the potential of Clemons opting out of “The Flash” due to the departure of director Rick Famuyiwa from that film. He responded:
“Also lot of you asking about Clemons, she did shoot a cameo in ‘Justice League’ and has a deal to play Iris West, so she’s not going anywhere. If she somehow did fall out, WB could just cut that scene from ‘Justice League’ like when Sony cut Shailene Woodley’s scenes in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’.”
No new director has yet come onboard “The Flash” at this point as Famuyiwa’s departure was only revealed the other day. The film had been targeting an early 2018 release, no word as yet on if it will be delayed.
