Clemons On “Flashpoint,” “Justice League” Reshoots

Actress Kiersey Clemons was one of the first cast members to sign on for “The Flash” film. The “Dope” actress, playing the role of Iris West, originally came onboard back when Rick Famuyiwa was attached.

He subsequently left the project but she stayed and has already filmed scenes playing Iris West for Zack Snyder’s upcoming “Justice League” film. Speaking with SHH recently, the actress says she’s not been a part of that film’s Joss Whedon-directed reshoots:

“I finished all my stuff with Zack [Snyder], I wish him well and I have no idea what’s going on right now but I’m sure whatever they’re doing is necessary. I know the parts that I did introducing Iris are f–king sick.

I can’t wait to see the movie. I’m so happy that I’ve been introduced to this genre because I didn’t really have any type of desire to be a part of any superhero world. And then I stepped on the set of ‘Justice League’ and I was like, ‘Holy s–t. Alright!'”

Clemons also spoke about where things stand with the long delayed solo “Flash” film which is now being titled “Flashpoint”. She says the “script is probably done” and they hope to start shooting next year:

“I’m gonna finish up the year, and then by January if we aren’t gonna go on The Flash I will probably get back to writing and then take a little break.”

“Justice League” opens in cinemas on November 10th.
