Out doing promotion for her new romantic drama “Me Before You,” actress Emilia Clarke briefly indicated that she’s not going to be returning to the role of Sarah Connor in future “Terminator” sequels.
She tells Coming Soon: “No. Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.”
Clarke played the role in last year’s “Terminator Genisys” which pulled in more than $440 million at the worldwide box office but was a critical flop and didn’t make much profit due to its expense.
Skydance Productions, which produced the film, has said they are “readjusting” their plans for the franchise. Right now there’s no word on where the series might go from here.
