Clark Duke (“Superbad”) has joined the cast of the Matthew Vaughn-directed comic book adaptation “Kick-Ass” reports Access Hollywood.
Backstage at the MTV VMAs, Clark says “I just saw Chris [Mintz-Plasse, co-star]. It’s the first time I saw him since I closed the deal, so I’m pretty excited. I’m leaving in a week or two.”
The story follows a 15-year-old boy named Dave Lizewski who, despite living in the “real world”, decides to become a superhero.
Duke will play Marty, a good and comedic comic book geek friend to the film’s lead character Dave. Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Chloe Moretz and Nicolas Cage also star.
