Civil War Crossbones Wraps, “Carter” Extended

Production has been underway in Atlanta for several weeks on “Captain America: Civil War”. During much of that time, photos have been popping up of actor Frank Grillo in his full Crossbones outfit engaging in fights with Captain America himself Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).

This week, Grillo has confirmed that he’s already wrapped his portion of the shoot. He’s not resting on his laurels either as he’s about begin production on the second season of the MMA-themed series “Kingdom”. Here’s the pertinent social media postings.

In related Marvel Cinematic Universe news, actress Hayley Atwell appeared at Comicpalooza in Houston this past Friday and confirmed (via MCU Exchange) that the upcoming second season of ABC’s “Agent Carter” will consist of ten episodes, up from the eight of the first season.

No premiere date has been announced as yet, but it is expected to air during the mid-season break of the third season of “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD”. The new season sees Peggy Carter re-locating to Los Angeles.
