Cillian Murphy Keen To Meet “Strangers”

Cillian Murphy (“28 Days Later,” “Batman Begins”) is in advanced negotiations to join the WWII psychological drama-thriller “Wayfaring Strangers” for Chic Films and Treasure Entertainment reports Variety.

The $5 million story follows a unit of British paratroopers captured by German soldiers in a remote farmhouse, where a young Jewish couple is hiding. Sylvie Testud, Niels Arestrup and Michael Gambon are in advanced negotiations to star.

Stephen Bradley (“Boy Eats Girl”) penned the script and will direct with shooting to kick off in mid-August.
