Though Marvel’s big and small screen universes are interconnected, one doesn’t expect some of the most high-profile talent of the films to show up on Marvel’s TV series like “Agents of SHIELD,” “Daredevil” or “Agent Carter”.
Supporting players like Jamie Alexander’s Sif and Cobey Smulders’ Maria Hill? Sure. The occasional impressive cameo like Sam Jackson’s Nick Fury? Yeah. But Hemsworth’s Thor or Johansson’s Black Widow? Doubtful.
One of Marvel’s new players, “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Chris Pratt, was recently asked by Zap2It if he’d be up for an appearance in “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” this season.
Pratt, who is currently in the midst of shooting the final season of “Parks and Recreation,” seems open to the idea, saying: “I wouldn’t rule it out. Marvel would have to decide, but if it made sense for the brand and for the story, yeah sure.”
Pratt joins the likes of Robert Downey Jr. and Jeremy Renner who’ve previously indicated they’re open to the idea of an appearance on the show. Whether it’ll happen and whether it’ll be suitable for the show’s storylines is a whole other question.
