Scribe Christopher McQuarrie and Director Bryan Singer will re-team again for Singer’s next project, the fantasy feature “Jack the Giant Killer”, which is currently being prepped for New Line and Legendary Pictures says Heat Vision.
McQuarrie is re-writing previous scripts by Mark Bomback and Darren Lemke which take a more adult approach to the Jack and the Beanstalk legend.
When a princess is kidnapped, a long-standing peace between men and giants becomes threatened, and a young farmer is given an opportunity to lead a dangerous expedition to the giant kingdom to rescue her.
McQuarrie and Singer previously worked together on “The Usual Suspects,” “Valkyrie” and “X-Men”. Singer is about to begin casting on the project.
Neal Moritz and David Dobkin are producing. Filming kicks off this Summer in UK.
