With “Wonder Woman 1984” having abandoned its November 1st 2019 release date for a Summer 2020 opening, one of its competitors has swooped in and claimed the abandoned date.
Sony Pictures’ “Charlie’s Angels” reboot will now take that November slot, coming five weeks later than originally planned. Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska will portray the film’s three Angels working for a global security agency.
Patrick Stewart, Djimon Hounsou, Sam Claflin, Jonathan Tucker and Luis Gerardo Mendez also star, as does Elizabeth Banks who also helms the film which began shooting last month. Banks, Doug Belgrad and Max Handelman will produce.
