Charles Dance (“Game of Thrones”), Dutch actress Lotte Verbeek (“Outlander,” “The Blacklist”) and rising Swedish actor Sverrir Gudnason (“Borg/McEnroe”) will headline the English-language fantasy/mystery “The Book of Vision”.
The story follows a young Italian doctor named Eva (Verbeek) who, while studying the history of medicine at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland, discovers an 18th-century text about a Prussian doctor (Dance) which hides a mystery.
Dance also plays Eva’s doctor in the present day, while Gudnason plays her research tutor. Filippo Nigro and Isolda Dychauk also star. Carlo Hintermann directs and Terrence Malick will executive produce the film which began shooting Monday in Belgium.
