Channing Tatum has joined the cast of “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” the Matthew Vaughn-directed sequel to his 2014 action-spy hit “Kingsman: The Secret Service”. Production is slated to begin early May in London.
Taron Egerton, Colin Firth and Mark Strong are all returning to the project while newcomers for this entry include Julianne Moore as the villain, Halle Berry as the head of the CIA and Pedro Pascal as a lethal American agent.
Tatum’s role is unclear as he was offered several with parts ranging from supporting roles to cameos, potentially including one in which he plays himself. As reported earlier this week, Elton John is also in talks to join the production.
