Channing Tatum Joins Cartel Drama “Bloodlines”

Channing Tatum is set to star in Universal Pictures’ drug cartel drama “Bloodlines” based on Melissa Del Bosque’s upcoming novel.

The story follows a Texas-based FBI rookie who stumbles upon a major money laundering operation tied to American quarter horse racing and run by Mexico’s most brutal drug cartel.

Teaming with a more experienced agent, the pair set out to take down one of the world’s most fearsome drug lords. Jonathan Herman (“Straight Outta Compton”) will write the script for the film
