CBS has announced its summer schedule today with four shows scoring premiere dates.
The most notable is the new suspense thriller “Salvation” which will premiere Wednesday, July 12th. The story follows tech superstar Darius Tanz (Santiago Cabrera) and MIT grad student Liam Cole (Charlie Rowe), who bring to Pentagon official Grace Barrows (Jennifer Finnigan) a staggering discovery – that an asteroid is just six months away from colliding with Earth.
“Zoo,” last summer’s #2 scripted series, returns for its third season on June 29th. Now set in the year 2027, the world has reached a tipping point as the human population continues to dwindle due to sterility. At the same time an army of unstoppable lab-made creatures dubbed ‘The Hybrids’ are hell-bent on destroying Mankind.
The new live action game show “Candy Crush,” based on the mobile game franchise, is set for a Sunday, July 9th premiere. in the series two people use their wits and physical agility to compete on enormous, interactive game boards.
Finally, “Big Brother” hosted by Julie Chen will once again have three weekly episodes. A special two-hour premiere kicks off on June 28th.
