CBS has renewed its TV series adaptation of the James Patterson novel “Zoo” for a second season.
The series kicks off with violent animal attacks upon humans occurring all over the world. An American zoologist, a safari guide, a Los Angeles reporter, a quirky veterinarian, and a French intelligence agent all seek to investigate the mysterious pandemic as the attacks become more coordinated and ferocious.
This summer’s most watched scripted series with an average of 6.4 million viewers, the first season is already available in its entirety on Netflix.
The second season is slated to air next Summer and joins the previously announced comic thriller “BrainDead” on CBS.
